Apparently original JasPer library contains bad memory leak that may affect performance of webcam uploader and viewer in the long run. Both programs shipped with GYachI rely on JasPer library for encoding and decoding webcam pictures. Packages you find here are originally packaged by Mandriva and are here for fair use only.
